Asymmetry is one of those things that most of the time isn't a major issue because no one is perfectly symmetric and will have "noticeable" ones, by that I mean ones you can say "yeah, that's asymmetric" if you're an aspie staring at yourself in the mirror for 3 hours a day (aren't we all?), but these minor asymmetries really don't detract from looks.

Now, more noticeable asymmetries are an issue, because this is one of those concepts normies think affects beauty so much. So having a very noticeable one will definitely detract from your looks, although I'd say it's not because it's inherently a massive failo (for example this guy would still seem quite attractive despite his jaw asymmetry), but you're failoed by normies' perception of asymmetries.

No normie is going to call you out or make fun of you because of your philtrum, but asymmetry? That's different.
