So I look into the mirror on the daily and question, why does my right side eye look asymmetrical (more upper eyelid exposure, lower eyelid is more puffy), why is my right cheek less hollow (makes my right side look so chuddy), why is my right ramus less defined (nerfs my right jawline so lwk always try get photos taken on the left) , and why does my left side of my face brutually mog my right in every capacity. I have asked other people before and they say they can’t notice any differences between either side so either I’m being hypercritical and over analytical but either way it js plays w me and my confidence, so does any1 have any suggestions on fixes or methods to combat such issues I can add photos aswell

Most recent and best I could find from the front, I’ve lwk deleted all my right side profile photos and its too late at night to get sm new ones rn, idk the diff aint that noticeable in photos ig but when I look at these two mirrors in my house which connect at 90 I can spot the differences more

okay so we assume it’s a posture issue, I have defo noticed like my mobility on my right side of my face and neck is much weaker and like I tend to tilt to the left so I’ll have a look into it, you reckon if I fix my posture I’ll notice the changes?

yes if you fix your posture your face is gonna look more symmetrical you see the body is one system that works together the reason youve gotta facial asymmetry is because its compensating for something else if you fix that you'll 100 percent be more symmetrical you probably have a neck tilt to one side pelvic tilt scapular winging or something along these lines

Yea and ithink it explains the ramus issue like my gongial on my right is so much closer to my neck compared to my left, almodt as if my face is tilting that way, and I think I have anterior pelvic tilt along w other posture issues, so I’ll look into methods to fix them

Yea I’ll defo focus on it for atleast 6 months and see if I can identify the changes as my asymmetry has been such a burden on my confidence but thank you for the help. If possible can you give like a short rundown on the Alexander technique and how to do it, what I’m seeing online is confusing

not exactly to informed on it not exactly your guy for it but as far fixing your posture goes you need to do atp exercises which means strengthen your gluten and lower back then your neck do chin tucks neck curls do wall angels then fix your rib alignment by correct breathing its very important and do stretches like a doorway peck stretch just stretch in general daily

Ye right, but if there is no direct way to fix my misalignment of my sphenoid, as it’s a bone, then will it be possible to fix the underlying asymmetry issues with only posture fixes

only reason your sphenoid is misaligned is because its compensating for your neck tilt it'll fix itself just be consistent
