I can't tell what your 20's are going to be like. It's not a universal experience like childhood and teenage years. Experiences can be vastly different.

Mine went by fast and were largely, but not totally wasted. The worst thing you can do is expect too much and be entitled. Historically, 20's were not for 'having fun'.

I can say that I experienced happiness and meaning only when doing things out of a free will. And unhappiness, whenever I felt my life was in somebody else's hands.

The fact that I'm still unhappy at almost 30 comes mostly from placing too much trust in other people, institutions or 'the world'.
