Lol, no one cares about "personality", I remember the early days of online dating, when dating sites had a ton of options, you could filter people based on their interests, personality, beliefs, favorite music, books, movies, etc.
Of course most guys would mass-spam all the girls, who were overwhelmed with so many messages, that they would filter fast through them just by looking at the photos. That's why Tinder became so successful - they figured out that no one cares about interests and other crap and the only thing that matters is the photos. So they provided a fast and easy way for women to filter through all the desperate men interested in them by swiping and that's why they became so hugely successful.
