When they are actually accidentally proving JBE because they are literally using examples of brown men getting pussy.

Yeah it’s beyond me just really shows how flawed and flat out false their notion is

as I said before, 'whiteness' and 'ethnicness' are social constructs of the white supremacist ideology and not real genetical categories

This is a nuanced question that touches on genetics, race, and social constructs—all of which are often misunderstood or oversimplified. Here's a clear breakdown:

1. Genetic Ancestry:

Genetically, Southern Europeans (e.g., Sicilians, Greeks, Albanians, Portuguese, Andalusians) are closer to other Europeans than to populations in the Middle East, North Africa, or South Asia. However, because of geography and history (trade, conquest, migration), there is more genetic overlap with North Africans and West Asians than in Northern or Eastern Europe.

Key Points:

  • Southern Europeans share a core of European ancestry, especially from Neolithic farmers and later Indo-European migrations.
  • There's some West Asian and North African admixture, especially in places like Sicily (due to Phoenician, Roman, Arab, and Norman influence), Andalusia (due to Moorish presence), and parts of Greece and Albania.
  • Still, they are firmly within the European genetic cluster in modern population genetics studies.

2. "White" or "Brown"? — Social Constructs

The terms "white" and "brown" are socially constructed, and their meaning varies by culture, country, and time period.

In the U.S.:

  • Southern Europeans are generally considered white, especially in modern classifications (e.g., U.S. Census).
  • However, in earlier 20th-century America, Southern and Eastern Europeans were often not considered fully 'white'—they were racialized as "ethnic" or "Mediterranean," and sometimes discriminated against.
  • Over time, they've become assimilated into the broader "white" category in Western societies.

Globally:

  • In Europe, Southern Europeans are seen as part of the mainstream European/white population.
  • In some Middle Eastern or South Asian contexts, they might be called “white.”
  • In racialized U.S. contexts, people from those regions might sometimes be described as "ethnically ambiguous," “olive-skinned,” or "Mediterranean-looking"—but still considered white unless of mixed background.

3. Comparison with Iranians, Afghans, North Africans:

  • Iranians and Afghans are Indo-European by language and share some ancient ancestry, but genetically they form a distinct group, closer to Central and South Asians.
  • North Africans (e.g., Moroccans, Algerians, Egyptians) have a mix of Berber, Arab, Sub-Saharan African, and European (e.g., Roman, French, Iberian) influences.
  • There's some shared ancestry with Southern Europeans, especially across the Mediterranean, but it's not enough to group them together genetically or racially.

Summary:

GroupGenetically Closer toSocially Considered
Southern EuropeansOther EuropeansWhite (in most Western contexts)
Iranians, AfghansCentral/South AsiansVaries: sometimes "brown"
North AfricansDistinct, mixed groupOften considered "brown" or MENA

Final Note:

"Race" is not a biological reality, but a social and historical concept. Genetically, variation is continuous, not neatly divided into boxes. Southern Europeans are European, with some Mediterranean and West Asian influence, but firmly within the European genetic and social category.

therefore I don't really care what some schizo 4chan white supremacists want you to think since it clearly makes way more sense to encompass Meds under the "European/white" category than the "non-white/ethnic" since "ethnic" could be anything, it's like using terms like goy/mleccha to unironically categorise people :forcedsmile:

we're closer to Nordics than to Arabs so I don't get it why would we accept a Nordicist racist umbrella term that puts us in the same category with people unrelated to us or to each other as well (puting all MENA's or all Indians is also beyond stupid)
