You just need to have 0 sex for a while, let's say a year, despite trying. It can happen at any age, but the greatest majority of incels are actually people above 60 y.o., cause they cannot find anyone.
Just "not having sex" does not count though.
Incel literally mean INVOLUNTARY CELIBATE. You literally should have exhausted all possible options (to you), including betabuxx, SEAmaxxing, etc. You also should have no money to pay for escorts, or they should be illegal where you live, otherwise, volcel.
So, as you understand, the percentage of real incels is very small. And it can happen at any age.
