At what point does being attracted to a ladyboy make you gay?

Not that I would do it but I live in Thailand and see plenty of objectively very attractive ladyboys, young and hormones taken during puberty so pretty fem ish.

Like when is it gay? When I think they look beautiful, when I fuck them or when I date them?

There was this guy whicy dates a popular ladyboy and he said “Only because I’m dating a Ladyboy doesn’t mean I’m gay"
