You will never forget no matter how much you ascend

Yep your life traumas and mental scars never disappear. If you've lived a shitty life full of misery and unmet needs for many years you're never gonna be able to undo that damage even if you somehow magically ascend and fix every other area of your life.

I'm in my early 20s and still never managed to ascend or get success in most areas of life, and even if I did my mind is still gonna remain jaded and depressive no matter how much better my life got. My formative years were horrid.

Best you can do when you're forced to live a life like this is to do all the hedonistic and fun things for personal enjoyment you can. For me driving my car on fun roads you can go fast on is one of my favorite hobbies but my sleep and everything lately has been too fucked to even enjoy that. Suffering is a vicious cycle and it's impossible to outrun all your issues
