The ATF3 gene is a neanderthal derived gene which causes strong radix projection, most commonly found among European populations, but also to a lesser extent found among East Asians and Amerindians.
"In one genome region in particular, called ATF3, the researchers found that many people in their study with Native American ancestry (as well as others with east Asian ancestry from another cohort) had genetic material in this gene that was inherited from the Neanderthals, contributing to increased nasal height. The rs453116 allele in the UBE20 was associated with increased supraorbital protrusion among East Asians, especially Koreans.
"In the present study, rs453116 and rs8180176 were identified to be associated with brow ridge protrusion and tangent line angle, respectively. They showed pleiotropic effects, indicating their associations with other traits."

However only 10% of continental East Asians even carry this allele, the Japanese derive their supraorbital protrusion genes mostly from Jomons.
Scientifically speaking, projecting supraorbitals and projecting radixes are genetically possible for East Asians.
