You can be Atheist or have whatever ideas you want but a lot of you treat being Atheist as like you're not a sheep and you're so woke and above all and everyone else is a dumb idiot, while having the loosest theology. You make the most recycled, illogical arguments and have a dishonest heart while doing so.

I also am not sure why there is a recurring idea that you can't be religious and blackpilled. I am indeed a Christian man and try my best but I'm not sure what believing in a higher power has to do with recognition of life being significantly easier or harder due to factors you have little to no control over.

Not here to debate. If you don't fit the description then I'm not talking about you.

I don't know about atheism and all that but I do know that the mainstream religions are absolute bullshit like Christianity, Islam etc, fairy tales.

Writes this babble and doesn’t reply to my thread which you are very obviously referring to jfl
Its not that being an atheist makes you an intellectual its just that being a theist disqualifies you

atheism is the religion of the west and right now the west is doing good so that’s why they’re correlated

you're not that special that I'm directing a whole thread to you. been on my mind since.

Again if you don't fit the description then I'm not talking about you. Besides the fact, yes, your idea of religion contradicting bp was a catalyst of sorts to the second point.

Luv. God bless.

You pretty much referred to the title of my thread verbatim, you even underlined and coloured it in :lul:

God is nature but Imma stick to promise of not debating. All luv.
God is not nature. God is the exact opposite of nature.

Religion holds you away from doing certain things.

And guess what, you can't enslave nature.

Nature does whatever it wants.

So religion can't enslave nature.

Therefore religion isn't a thing in nature.

Which means religion is not natural.

Everyone in nature would laugh at you if you told them about this so called "religion" and "God"

I mean disorganised religion (more akin to tribal cultural traditions and creation myths) is absolutely a natural practice
Humans in nature were known to be avid storytellers and used myths to explain things they didn’t understand and improve tribal cohesion.
The human tendency to anthropomorphise means our ancestors decided that the wind, the moon, the stars etc were spirits/deities and whatnot. Plus they needed things to cope with the inevitability of death since humans are the only species that can really grasp its magnitude
Humans have a natural impulse to create religions to explain things, which is why atheistic societies do not exist in nature

Abrahamic religion (and modern organised religion in general) is deeply unnatural though.

yeah but i would say its more abt the lense your looking at the world through, if your gonna preach certain things as "evil'" and others good, then your foundation is already flawed, yet alone what your own values would be

religion isnt true in the world, but in human nature it has its possibilties, humans tend to lean towards simplifications of why things are the way they are, like a natural dissaster, in most ancient times, it could mean you upset a god or recieving a blessing in disguise, a helpful religion pushes strenght and vitality, like the greeks, they perfected teh art of transformation, of raw forces of life into the aesthetics of their culture

this is like what i said but in other words, but we also have to accept some beliefs or in better words, illusions, have a higher ceiling for superior individuals compared to others
also abrahamic religions are disgraceful, i have never had more hate for beliefs a group has had like them

i don't understand this
if your lense of looking through the world starts with establishing that things are "evil" or "good" in nature, then its automatically flawed as all things in nature are inherently innocent including our species

These idiots can’t explain the point of natural selection either.

If an all powerful god exists, why do animals have to eat eachother to survive? he could make every organism herbivores. He could skip evolution and just make species their prime. Literally 0 point in natural selection. Also what’s the point of creating animals if they go to heaven

They can argue that human suffering leads to eternal happiness in heaven but then what about animals? Animals don’t get the “happy ending”. They suffer and get no return, God can’t be all loving either.

animals don't have the same moral agency as humans and stuff like hunting or eating one another can't be viewed as good or evil, it just is. Nature is.

Because they don't have the same moral agency, we have dominion over them. The whole animal cycle is in place so that some animals are prey and predators, carnivores and herbivores, etc. It's all in balance. It all is.

I'm trying not to debate but you are quite misinformed. I'm not arguing further on tho I'll just agree to disagree all love anyway

I’d love to debate with you, disappointed you don’t want to hear my response :feelswah: but I went to catholic school for most my life so I’m very educated on christianity and it’s what led me to my belief of atheism.
