I added what I thought was 35 ml MCT with 10 mg dut, but after heating the MCT and transferring to different containers, I only had 25 ml left. Idk how much dut was lost

Anyway, the solution was cloudy, so I added 25 ml more MCT, so now I have a 50 ml solution with idk how much dutasteride. I’ve heated it again at this more dilute concentration. I will see if it’s still cloudy when it cools

This nigger got sold water as MCT.

Also my mum saw me brewing it and asked if I was cooking something else, to which I mumbled something like “nah it’s just something”

Sexy beast.
Tbh it’s looking better, mostly cooled:

Could just be that half the dut has perished and been lost while transferring, or it’s just so dilute it looks clear

The cool stuff extracted from uncool stuff.
Your wise cracks and Britishcel humour isn't helping. I genuinely wtf it is. Is that like something like Bac Water

It’s oil to dissolve the dut

Looks dissolved.
How can u tell the difference vs just dilution? I think you’re right, but if I added 25 ml water to my original solution it would also look clearer

Basically a mixture of fats of which have medium length tails hence medium-chain triglyceride. 8 carbons is caprylic acid, 10 carbons is capric acid. They’re attached to glycerol which makes triglycerides. Since they’re mostly short compared to other fats, MCT is liquid at RT, bland-tasting, and very easy for your body to digest.

Dut is a very greasy, water-hating molecule. In water or stomach fluid, it won’t even dissolve. Despite it not being that soluble in MCT, dissolving it in lipid form at least allows your body to use it.

It’s not gonna be just muh diluted. If it’s low enough to be that diluted, it has to be dissolved in there. Scattering would be very noticeable even at tiny amounts.

Doesn't make sense to dissolve a drug that is lipophilic fat soluble in something like that

Solubility isn’t binary. You have varying capacities. Lipophilic drugs don’t dissolve equally in every fat. Better solvents are available but are very hard to get since they’re B2B and MCT is a typical standard: safe, diluent, and soft-gel friendly if you’re gonna make them.

There’s a fuck ton of little bubbles of MCT but I think it’s just that

And should I store in the fridge or at room temp?

Heat it up at a nice temp like I said before and leave it for 5-10 mins and all air bubbles will leave. Don’t mix vigorously as that is what introduces these bubbles to begin with. They don’t harm the final digestion, but can make it look cloudy, falsely indicating bad solubility.

Such profound wisdom
And ye the RU absorption is pretty dire:

That’s 2 hours after applying. Looks worse irl

I’ll do 20% PG and 10% DMSO and see if it works

Chuddha blesses you with grace.

Reduce le EtOH as you say with PG. You can even go to like 50% EtOH.
What’s the best ratio of the three for 10% RU would u say?

Literally totally individual. I mean, I do think you would probably be absolutely fine on 50% EtOH / 40% PG / 10% DMSO.
