The reason men overrate height is because they think attraction Is this 1 +1 = 2 logical equation and the fact height is so easy to format into statistics it makes it overinflate the importance that is really has.
Height is an attractive feature but it acts more of a qualifier and gives you the ability to be seen as an option but it's really not enough at all
Men are so starved of options where they believe simply being seen as an option is enough to be considered for high desirability
Whereas attraction to face is this emotional thing where you get butterflies lose all sense and there's a spark in your eyes when you look at them. It's something that mere statistics and data cannot necessarily quantify which is why normoid men seem to fixate so much on height
