So first of all you look at your side profile and note the length of your ramus + mandible , then you take a picture from underneath of your jaw , and build a trinagle (length of your jaw + width) , the bigger area the more bones , then you suck in cheeks and go deep with your finger until you feel your maxilla , then you note the distance from bizygomatic arch till the point where your finger ist , the bigger the distance , the wider and bigger are the cheekbones
