STEM is decent for money, and can be interesting/rewarding. Also often has chilled working environment.

But complete lack of women + statusmin from being a nerd are things to seriously consider.

Nah, atleast at my physics department everyone is really chilled. No big deadlines, stress. Very relaxed working environment, trips/holidays with the department, going to conferences across the world.

It's definitely not that bad in that regard.

The work itself is very anti-social and autistic though. Being in STEM itself no doubt reduces your social skills and general NT-ness by rewiring your brain to me more logical/rational/autistic.

You will overthink more in social situations due to having to overthink in your job all the time. You are destroying your NTness and personality basically.
