Azelaic acid and eczema

Is it worth it to use azelaic acid if you have eczema? I've never had it on my face though only body (Mostly feet) but would rather be safe than sorry.

@HimmyButler What do you think mogs for lightening, azelaic or kojic? I'm leaning more towards kojic now because I hear more people mention it for lightening.
