Bad lighting ruins my day

I'm staying in a hotel at the moment, and my room has such flattering lighting, I actually look kind of cute in the mirror.

But when I go in the hallway by the elevators, I literally look like a monster. The lighting is so bad. I felt so depressed that I just went back to my room.

Bad lighting can seriously ruin my entire day. It just makes me want to hide away.
