Bad side profile = Recessed

I see a lot of bad side profiles but they tend not to look recessed

recession is typically seen with the jaw behind the nasion I believe.

I agree this is the best measure of good forward growth, as it pertains to being good looking.

many people even have slight underbites and recessed jaws, but their maxillas are well developed so they still look good, the midface is much more important than the jaw imo.


Younes is a perfect example of this, strong midface with a bit recessed jaw = still model tier Chaddam

You can have shit undereye support, bad cheekbones, malocclusions and still appear to be forward grown enough.

The triangle is the best indicator because it measures raw maxillary projection/length, like it should be

Not flat by triangle method.
Glabella/nasion being too set back gives a flat maxilla effect.

They have bimaxillary protrusion
Jaws are protruded more than nose and rest of the face

He’s black his upper maxilla is flat while his lower maxilla is normal or protruding

The more I see side profiles the more I realize glabella, nasion and mandible mean everything

Its hard to look recessed if those three are good

Flat and a recessed maxilla are two different things

A recessed maxilla can greatly hurt your looks a flat maxilla no as much
Flat maxillas can be typically found in East Asian monogloids

For both the eyes are directly above the nose and the triangle is much more narrow?

Flat is unfixable through surgery also flat looks a lot better than recessed
