Because your skin is over your bones so even if you have a good bone structure, it won't save you. The first thing that will be noticed is how good your skin looks.
And in pictures... You want good lighting but good lighting also shows more the state of your skin.
That's why a good skin is mandatory, it will enhance your bone structure too.
What would I call bad skin? A skin that doesn't look smooth, that is irregular with scars, dilated pores, wrinkles. Obviously severe acnee too but you still can still have a good skin even if you have few pimples.
I started tretinoin last week as I have skin damages due to a severe acnee that didn't competely stop even after Accutane. It took it 10 years ago, my skin was good (just few scars). Then 3 years later, acne + dilated pores came back.
