I am just using tretinoin and did 2 Microneedling sessions.

Also I have eyebags and I need to get rid of them healthy.

STEP 1 - Diet:

Get your diet in check and remove sugar. No candy. Make sure to fix the basics also. This includes, drinking 3-4 litres of water, adequate sleep and a good amount of sun exposure.

STEP 2 - Accutane:

Before you take Accutane (isotretinoin) you'll have to get your blood taken - this will tell you of any deficiencies you may have and once that's done, your doctor will put you on the first course and although it's typically recommended to take two courses of this, if your skin...
Isotretinoin
GHK-CU
Dutasteride

isotret and sunscreen is enough actually, use your sunscreen as a moisturizer you its already oily you dont have to use another thing to moisture your skin

maybe, if your acne is mild use epiduo or some benzoyl-peroxide product like akneroxid or similar. blasting dut just for acne is retarded

yo i never said use dut, also benzoyl is mostly cope if you are not using it 10% also 10mg isotret is mostly safe the only possible side effects are blurry vision (temporary) and overdried skin but its the effect not the side :)

ik you didnt. i was replying to the replies above as well. benzoyl + adapalene (which is what epiduo has) is absolutely not a cope lmao, will get rid of mild acne for sure. if youre gonna take isotret id say do 40mg, depending on bodyweight

10mg works just use it consistently also i dont think that high dosages are good for the skin, since demolition will be faster than repair there will likely be scars and holes left behind

not how it works man
afaik it is how it works, if you take higher dosages your skin will be dry faster and purging will come faster so demolition is mostly faster than the repairing process, at least i think low dosages do work too

STEP 1 - Diet:

STEP 2 - Accutane:

Before you take Accutane (isotretinoin) you'll have to get your blood taken - this will tell you of any deficiencies you may have and once that's done, your doctor will put you on the first course and although it's typically recommended to take two courses of this, if your skin clears up after one then that's normally fine. The course lasts between 4-6 months.

STEP 3 - Skincare:
  1. Cleanser (AM & PM)
  2. Moisteriser (AM & PM) - I'd suggest using a light face balm before bed, and in the morning use a collagen boosting moisteriser that has SPF in it to protect you from the sun.
  3. Exfoliator (1-2 times a week) - Use an exfoliator with salicylic acid.
  4. Retinol Overnight Cream (once a week)
  5. Bio Oil (PM) - Helps with scarring and overall complexion. This stuff goes a long way and you only need a drop of it.
HM: a pack of flannels. before applying your cleanser which is the first thing you'll apply day and night, you will need to apply hot water to your flannel and sit it on your face. This will help with opening your pores and essentially helps the products work their magic. Do not rub the flannel on your face with force.

This is what the average day would look like. This should be the bare minimum. If you could only use one product I would suggest using a cleanser, but if you can at least do this in conjunction with the other steps mentioned you should be golden:

AM: Cleanser, SPF Moisteriser
PM: Cleanser, Light Face Balm Moisteriser + Bio Oil

- On days where you use Exfoliator, add it to the above AM routine. User it after the Cleanser.
- On days where you use Retinol Cream, reduce the amount of the light moisteriser and use it with that or instead of the moisteriser, use bio oil with the cream. Both of these will help dilute the cream.

When using the Retinol Overnight Cream make sure to only use a small amount. 1 pea sized dot on each cheek and rub in with the light moisteriser or Bio Oil.

STEP 4 - Scarring:

Once all previous steps have been achieved and all active acne has been eradicated, you may potentially have scarring depending on the severity of your situation. As I mentioned in Step 3, Bio Oil helps with this so your results post accutane should not be as bad as they could have been. Bio Oil is extremely cost effective and can last 8-12+ months depending on how often you are using it.

If you are unhappy with your results and notice obvious scarring, you can then think about chemical peels and microneedling. These will both help with redness and scarring. Make sure to leave 6-12 months after coming off accutane before doing microneedling or any other aggressive treatments

IMPORTANT - Summary:

Accutane has a lot of side effects so please consult your doctor before using this. It is widely used and you shouldn't worry, but it's important to mention. It's recommended to fix your diet first and foremost. Incorporating the skincare products I mentioned will help as well as accutane, but if the stuff you're consuming is greasy and bad for you then it won't be as effective. Fix your diet, then your skincare, consult your doctor about accutane and once you have finished your first course, assess the situation and think whether or not it's worth going for the second. Only once these things have been achieved should you worry about things like microneedling.

In terms of the eye bags that you mentioned, sleep and collagen will help. There is more to this area that can be done, but it's important that you address the above first.

If this has helped you at all please consider marking this reply down as a solution. If you need more help on this shoot me a pm as acne was a huge problem for me and I understand how much of an effect this can have on your confidence. Godspeed brother. :feelsgood::feelsgood::feelsgood:❤️

im already tapped into moisturiser salicylic acid and cleanser, cause i have extremely oily skin and sebum. i just wanna ask what do you think about a dht blocker like finasteride slowing down sebum production? :what:

If you’ve got hair loss/thinning along with oily skin and excess sebum, fin makes sense since it targets all three. But if your hair’s fine, I’d start with retinoids. retinol cream, adapalene, or tretinoin. They’re great for acne and oil control. Use a pea sized amount with a light moisturiser (or bio oil if your skin gets dry // also good for acne scarring), start once a week, and then build up to twice weekly as your skin adjusts. Stick with it for a while before deciding if you need to move up to fin.
