Bad social experiences cause me to become non social

Being ignored in earlier days and having no one greet or respond to me caused me to never greet someone first or smile at them or even be kind to them. At work I have a straight face all day and don’t speak a single word unless I’m spoken to. I refuse to speak to anyone because there’s a chance they won’t respond
