Feel bad for that man. I started balding at 17. At 19, I had a bald spot on the back of my hair, and my front had receded into corners far back.

I was able to save my hairline with oral minoxidil. Unfortunately, I have to be on this for life because of my sensitivity to androgens ( dihydrotestosterone ).

I'm surprised if you were that heavily balding you could maintain just with oral minox and no finasteride. Oral minox dosnt stop test converting to DHT

10 milligrams of oral minoxidil per day now. I would take 20 milligrams milligrams per day by taking two tablets per day spread out, but I stopped that because I figured that I could maintain with 10 milligrams.

I was thinking about dutasteride or finasteride, but I was still developing possibly, so I did not want to negatively affect anything. Dutasteride also worsens erectile function from what I read. I want to have good sexual performance at least.

More men get higher libido on fin and dut than men who get lowered libido. It raises total and free testosterone

Weird. Why do I hear opposite claims?

What we do know is that finasteride and dutasteride increases risk for developing gynecomastia because more testosterone means that more testosterone is aromatised into estrogens.

Because the ones who get negative side effects shout the loudest.
For me fin raises libido
