Bambutidm

Description:

Type of the African Pygmies, living in Central Africa. Shows the strongest adaption to tropical rainforest conditions of all humans. Bambutids belong to the shortest humans, the males hardly surpass 140 cm. Very short-legged, athletic. Noses are the widest in the world, often wider than the mouth, features overall infantile. Hairiness stronger than in savannah groups, lips thinner, skin fairer, face wide, the peppercorn hair ranges from reddish-blonde to black. The type diverged from others some 60 000 years ago and developed through hunter gatherer lifestyle in the forests. East Bambutids show the most pronounced features, their stature is shorter, face wider, nasal root lower, and prognathy weaker than in West Bambutids. The similar Twa-Cwa group shows stronger Congolid influence. Most Bambutid tribes today suffer from war, discrimination, and loss of culture.

Top 3 most unique and interesting phenotypes

1. Eskimid
Eskimidm

Arctic group, the northernmost in the world, and the type with the best adaption to polar climate. Native from East Siberia to Greenland. Adaptions include rather short, stocky, and thickset bodies with short limbs, a very narrow nasal opening, and strong masticatory muscles. Often long-skulled, protruding cheekbones, frequent Mongolian folds, straight to wavy hair, modest pilous growth, yellowish-reddish light brown skin. Came to America with relatively recent migrations from North Asia only a few millennia ago. The Inuid variety is usually regarded as the most typical. At the Bering Strait a broader-skulled and -nosed variety, the Bering Sea type, is found.

2. Nilotid
Nilotidm

Specialised African type, native to the swamps and savannahs of the Upper Nile region in South Sudan and adjacent countries. With their black skin they belong to the darkest people on Earth. Their thin bodies are the tallest of all indigenous human groups worldwide who are still alive, their legs longer than in any other known group. Only poverty and malnutrition keep individuals below their genetic height-potential. Heads long, facial features coarse with a rather wide nose, full lips, and kinky hair. Prognathy weak. Nilotids seem to be a relatively old group that might have extended further East into Ethiopia during prehistoric periods. The most typical variety is the Dinkaid, native to swamp regions. A similar savannah counterpart is the Shillukids. South Nilotids show less pronounced features, possibly due to admixture. In Chad, the admixed West Nilotid Shari type is found. An very ancient variety still exists between Sudan and Ethiopia: the Pre Nilotid.

3. Lappid
Lappidm

Round-headed, often dark-haired group, that is common in the native populations of North Scandinavia. Shows several adaptions to cold climate like short stature and short limbs with stocky bodies. Hair is often brown, eyes are sporadically slanted, noses are short, chin small and pointed. Cheekbones broad and body hair weak. Probably developed in Northeastern Europe during the Neolithic and reached its modern form through selection under strong environmental stimuli. Found in its highest frequency in Lapland. Can be divided into a western, low-skulled Scando Lappid, and an eastern, high-skulled, weakly Mongoloid North Lappid variety. Rare today and often mixed with Nordids or East Europids. More widespread in historic times: around 1700 still common in the proximity of Oslo and St. Petersburg.
