I probably should correct myself to avoid further confusion. He got banned for claiming to be gay.

Most users getting banned for claiming to be gay probably aren’t but they get banned anyway since they still broke the rules.

People getting banned for claiming to be gay isn’t a new phenomena, it’s happened a plethora of times, I’m not sure how he went 9 months on this forum without catching on.

You're the mod at the end of the day, but imo it's unfair that others can post gay porn and appeal and get back in whereas someone jokingly says "I'm gay" (and it's not a suicide by mod situation) and gets perma'd rather than at least temp banned (providing they have no repeated history of infractions). Not to mention, some people really do need this site.

Claiming to be gay has always been a permanent ban worthy offense, that’s just the way things are. No one is restricted from making a suggestion thread aiming to alter the rules if they believe they’ve got a good reason to do so.


In @Ocelot’s situation one can’t blame his ban on ignorance since he literally replied to my post about someone being banned for homosexuality. Jokingly or not, (which nearly everyone could claim after getting warned) breaking a rule is still breaking a rule.

The threads with gay stuff are made in a way that it's clear that you arent serious, and you do it only once and that's it.
