JFL, I just checked the logs and I gotta say the person responsible for it is incredibly based (although personally I had nothing against folie).

He was on the verge of suicide man. This fourm probably didn't do him that many favors but I was talking him out of it in PM until he got banned. Is there any information I can get as to why? Unless he is a LARPer (which arguably means his mental state is even worse) or a woman, I don't see the reason for the ban.

Moderators will give warnings/bans based if any rules and they will react as they see fit. Also you're just another teenager on a forum, what he really needs is professional help if he's having mental problems. I encouraged him (giving him the benefit of the doubt and believing him) to stop harming himself but at the end of the day we can't stop him.

Fair enough, but he clearly doesn't have acsess to professional help. And I've been to therapy, it's pretty shit. Getting to know someone thoroughly without the shield of a doctorate is a lot more personal and helpful. At the very least I wish I could still PM him, if he can't post.

Hell, even feel free to read through my PMs to make sure I don't say anything dangerous.

If you are that concerned, I can ask him for his email address so that you may continue your conversation with him. Would that be something that would make you feel better? Sucks to hear about you needing therapy and that it also didn’t really help at all.

Honestly I have met and befriended many troubled individuals online. Some are still alive, some are dead. Ultimately we can only do so much as far messages on a screen are concerned. I appreciate the concern you have for this person.

A way to tell if a rule is retarded (on any site) is to pretend the unallowed thing is allowed and then see if anyone cares.

For example, imagine CP (cheese pizza in minecraft) was allowed, wouldnt everyone be like "WTF???!!?"

Now imagine youre allowed to make an alt for like privacy reasons, no one would actually care. Not a single organism in the observable Universe would say, "Omg I cant believe you're allowed to make 2 accounts on this website... this is preposterous!"
