I've already explained this previously, but I will explain it again.

1. Rep farming is against the rules. It doesn't matter how you personally feel about it.
2. This user was warned for intentionally breaking the rules. They were given a second chance via the warn system.
3. You are not allowed to intentionally disregard a warning when it's given to you. It's literally the sole purpose of the warning system. They intentionally disregarded staff's warning when they were warned, and got banned for breaking the rules.

This has been the system put in place on forum websites for as long as they've been around. It's not unique to this user in particular.

Why is @Xangsane banned? Is it because of his alleged involvement in that doxx? If so, is this screenshot the only basis for banning him? Don't you know that nickname can be edited through F12 (developer tools in chrome)? You can do the same for avi or just set the same one. Such "evidence" can be fabricated for any user in a second. If you have no other proof and he didn't admit that he has done it, he should be unbanned.

I'm not the one who banned him or anything, so I'm not sure of the exact details of his ban.

It is permanent and I do believe he lost his right to appeal in the future.
