It's the de facto getaway destination for half the worlds population, basically what southern Spain is for brits and Germans (cheaper, slightly exotic, yet with home comforts when u need them, better weather), but for india and China, MEA horny fuck boys, as well as Korea, Japan, and rich SEA niggas.
No visas so even all the people from places like Uzbekistan, Russia, Iraq can all go there.
It's on the backpacking route.
It has great tourist infrastructure for people as a stopover on their asian adventure
