I always “ liked” Napoli because of Maradona, he went to Benfica stadium to meet Eusebio and watch Aimar playing.

Benfica also had a giant financial crisis but these recent sales saved us. Rui Costa (ex-Fiorentina/AC Milan player) is the president now but the owner are the fans/socios, so we have elections and he’s going to be fired tbh

I was in portugal in portinao on vacation when it happened, I met a benfica fan in the restaurant who kept telling me that he was super intelligent as a player and that it was a shame that they sold him... at the time I still didn't know him well... then after his first 5 minutes in serie a on his debut he scored his first goal, and since then he has never stopped breaking serie a.... even if in the last 2-3 games he has been a bit inconsistent, but I think it is also due to the fact that he has been very hyped and the defenders now expect it
