im saying this as a former grey who ordered that overpriced dogshit and used it for three months, saw exactly zero difference i genuinely felt like setting it on fire in my backyard. and you know what? that fire would have been the most useful those products ever were because at least it might have kept me warm for a solid 30 seconds.
and some of you fucking greys still fall for it. youre still out here asking "should i add the peptide serum to my stack" like thats going to change your fucking bone structure. like rubbing some $60 cream on your face is going to fix that your maxilla is recessed. like conditioning your hair is going to bring back follicles that are already dead and gone. its not just delusional anymore, its fucking tragic.
do you want to k
now what snaps people out of it? they finally see some guy walk into a room with a chiseled jaw, perfect forward growth, looking like he was carved from marble and girls just gravitate. dont even have to try. just stands there existing and people want to be around him. and then you look at your own face after two years of "consistency" and realize youve been played. that guy isnt good looking because of his routine. hes good looking because his parents gave him bones that actually grew forward. and you're standing there with your "improved skin texture" that nobody can see because the lighting is bad, realizing nobody gives a fuck about your skincare. they care about his jawline. they care about his cheekbones. they care about shit that no bottle is ever going to give you.
that's the part these product shills never want you to think about. because the second you realize that your dark circles are actually hollowing from recession, that your "weak chin" is just your mandible sitting too far back, that your "thin lips" are because your maxilla didn't develop properly—suddenly that $45 eye cream looks pretty fucking stupid, doesn't it? suddenly you realize that no amount of "hydration" is going to push your cheekbones out. no shampoo is going to lower your hairline if it's receding from DHT. you're just painting over a foundation that's cracked. you're polishing a turd. you're dressing up a fucking corpse.
and i get it, okay? i get why people cling to this shit. because softmaxxing is easy. it's safe. it's something yqou can do tonight while you watch netflix and pretend you're not rotting. it feels like you're making progress because you're doing something. but it's busywork. it's the adult equivalent of rearranging deck chairs on the titanic while you're still sinking. meanwhile there are actual solutions out there that people treat like they're insane, like they're somehow more extreme than spending your entire twenties obsessing over your pores while your face stays the same.
you want to know what's actually insane? spending $200 a month on products for five years hoping they'll change your bone structure. that's insane. that's actually fucking deranged behavior that normies have completely (and slightly pathetically) normalized because it makes money for these companies. you know what's not insane? accepting that if you want actual change, you need actual intervention.
yeah, i'm talking about surgery. implants. grafts. the shit that actually moves bones and changes proportions. the procedures that cost real money and hurt and take recovery time. at least when you pay for a genioplasty or a hair transplant or whatever, you're paying for something permanent. not another subscription to your own insecurity. not another bottle of hope that runs out in three months.
but that's not even the end of it. because once you go down the rabbit hole of actually fixing yourself, you realize how much deeper it goes. you realize that your face isn't just bones—it's muscles, it's posture, it's hormones, it's everything. so yeah, maybe you start pinning like your life depends on it even though you're probably too late. maybe you look into bonesmashing for areas that surgery can't fix. is it extreme? who fucking cares. at least it's targeting the actual problem instead of pretending tea tree oil is going to give you a jawline that people can actually see.
you want to fix your hair? finasteride, dutasteride, minoxidil, microneedling until your scalp is raw, PRP injections, hair transplants. the full protocol. not "hair vitamins." not "thickening shampoo." actual fucking medicine and surgery. you want skin that looks good? chemical peels that actually burn layers off. lasers that cost thousands. tretinoin that makes you peel like a snake. not "gentle brightening serum" with 0.0001% active ingredient so you don't leave a bad review while you're still ugly underneath.
and look, i know people get weird about this. i know the second you mention anything harder than a chemical peel, everyone acts like you're mentally ill. "oh you're just insecure, you need therapy." "oh you're obsessed, you have BDD." fuck off. i did therapy. therapy doesn't change the fact that when you walk into a room, you're still you. therapy doesn't fix that you get treated like you're invisible because your bones grew wrong. you think the guy with the chiseled jawline who gets free drinks and matches on apps is doing therapy to cope with his bone structure? no. because he doesn't have to. because he won the genetic lottery and you're over here burning money trying to scratch-card your way to the same result with fucking retinol while he just... exists.
i'm not saying everyone needs to go under the knife tomorrow. i'm not saying you can't improve your skin or your hair within the limits of what you have. but jesus christ can we be honest about what those limits are? can we stop pretending that a 17-year-old kid with a recessed chin and a weak jaw is going to softmaxx his way into looking like a model? can we stop telling guys with NW3
hairlines that they just need to find the right shampoo? it's cruel. it's actually cruel to let people waste their youth and their money on this fantasy that enough products will bridge the gap between average and actually good looking.
there comes a point where you have to look at yourself and decide: are you actually trying to improve, or are you just buying hope in a bottle because you're too scared to do the real shit? are you looksmaxxing, or are you a customer? because those product companies don't give a fuck about your results. they want you adding another bottle, another step, another "essential" to your routine every time some genetically gifted kid is shoving it up your ass on tiktok.
and here's what nobody wants to say: sometimes the real answer is hard. sometimes it costs more than $50. sometimes it requires recovery and pain and actually changing things instead of just maintaining this mediocre version of yourself. sometimes it means doing shit that sounds crazy to normies because normies are comfortable being mediocre. but at least it's real. at least it's not a fucking lie packaged in a glass bottle with minimalist branding.
you want to actually looksmaxx? stop asking what cream to buy and start asking what can actually be changed. start looking at your face like architecture instead of decoration. start considering the extreme options that actually move the needle. because all the paint in the world doesn't fix a foundation that's sunk. all the skincare in the world doesn't give you bones you weren't born with. and every day you spend rubbing creams into a face that's structurally wrong is another day you could have spent actually fixing it, another day you're still invisible and getting older.
but sure. keep the bottles if you want. keep taking those progress pics and convincing yourself you see a difference. keep telling yourself that "preventative skincare" is going to save you while your maxilla continues to melt into your throat. the ones that will see results will be doing the hard things, actually trying to change bones while you wait for your moisturizer to change your DNA. and when you finally wake up at 30 with the same recessed face and ten thousand dollars less and you're still getting treated like you don't exist, don't say nobody tried to tell you. don't say you weren't warned.
SLIGHTLY JFL AS IT IS SLIGHT PRACTICE FOR AN ENGLISH ESSAY! (BASED STILL HAS SOME GOOD PRODUCTS. ALTHOUGH BASICALLY ALL OF THEM ARE FUNCTIONALLY ASS AND OVERPRICED.)
