if someone is gaslighting you, it's much more likely that you come off as delusional or someone who cant handle the truth to them than that they actually believe what they're saying. them giving you the most generic response there is because they want you to fuck off is also much more likely.

that's why it's funny to see people complain about this while believing the differentiating factor is other people's low sentience
