Testosterone Based Compounds


  • Test: basic androgenic male hormone
  • Turinabol: Anavar’s cousin, more androgenic
  • Halotestin: extremely androgenic, low anabolic, think strength / aggression over size
  • Boldenone (EQ): lowers E2, slow dry lean gains, Increases RBC
  • Methyl-test: orally administered, highly androgenic, organ toxicity
  • Dianabol: highly anabolic, converts to methyl-DHT, lots of water weight, highly aromatizes
  • DHB (dihydroboldenone): highly androgenic, highly anabolic, hits androgen receptors hard

DHT Derivatives


  • Drostanolone (Masteron): hard, dry look, pure DHT compound
  • Primobolan: lowers E2, gradual gains similar to EQ
  • Mesterolone (Proviron): pure androgen, low anabolic rating, makes androgen receptors more available
  • Oxandrolone (Anavar): strongly anabolic, low androgenic, cosmetic look
  • Winstrol (Stanozolol): dry, hard and grainy, more of a lean cosmetic
  • Oxymetholone (Anadrol): highly anabolic, low androgenic, lots of water held, rapid strength
  • Superdrol (Methyldrostanolone): highly androgenic and anabolic, extreme strength and dry gains, liver toxic

19-Nor (Progesterone Pathways)


  • Nandrolone (NPP): highly anabolic, increases collagen synthesis and improves joints, lean steady gains
    and deca (longer ester)
  • Trenbolone: zero aromatization, nutrient partitioning, hits AR hard, much stronger progesterone effects, glucocorticoid receptors (blocks cortisol), strongly anticatabolic and androgenic, lean gains and extreme strength
  • MENT (Trestelone): strongly aromatizes, extremely potent androgenic compound, high E2 but MENT is powerful

IGF-1 Pathway


  • Insulin: nutrient partitioning, building block of IGF-1
  • HGH: lipolytic, signals IGF-1 to be created
  • Increlex: bypasses JAK2-STAT5 (pathway of which IGF-1 is created) and is biologically identical IGF-1

Thyroid (T4 and T3)


  • T4: only use is to make T3, abundant
  • T3: metabolism, body heat, nutrient partitioning and IGF-1 production
  • RT3: does nothing, fights for production with T3

SHBG (Sex Hormone-Binding Globulin)


  • Binds hormones (test, DHT, estrogen)
  • Controls biological activeness in hormones
  • “Traffic controller”
  • Strong SHBG displacers are
    Proviron, Masteron, Winstrol, Superdrol
    (they up free testosterone and lower E2)
  • 19-Nors don’t bind to SHBG
  • DHT binds strongly, test derivatives are more neutral

Metabolites (parent compound → active compound)


  • Test → DHT / E2
    (ideally stop this conversion to a degree)
  • NPP → dihydronandrolone
    (weaker DHT)
  • EQ → DHB (dihydroboldenone)
  • D-bol → methyl-estradiol
  • MENT → 7-methyl-estradiol

Myostatin / Follistatin Axis


  • Myostatin limits hypertrophy
  • Follistatin prevents this
  • Compounds that significantly lower myostatin are 19-nor derivatives and IGF-1 related compounds

Red Blood Cell Count


  • Effects cardiovascular system (cardio and endurance)
  • Compounds that raise RBC such as EQ (strongly) and test (moderately) boost cardio and endurance
  • Higher BP also can impact endurance performance
