batman is retarded for this(in the dark knight rises)

people praise this movie, saying it's usually the second best in the trilogy. but there's one thing about the movie that makes it bad, and it has to do a with a foid.

basically batman and catwoman end up teaming with each other earlier in the movie. they somehow discovered where bane and his thugs are and go to apprehend him. batman is later betrayed by catwoman for reasons i don't know..

he then gets the ass whipping of his life, while she watches. then he gets put into slavery. he gets out of his enslavement, and then returns to the city to fight Bane and FORGIVES catwoman.

what part of that makes sense? here's the scene below.
