Beanie/Cap maxing

I see a lot of people who say that the beanie method is pretty good. The just wear a beanie to hide the hair on the days that it doesn't look good. What beanie colour do you guys recommend?

What about caps? I have an oval face shape

for me cap method was goated when I had the Homeless cut grown out.
