Beards can make or break your face. Since I have been experimenting and studying beards on others, I thought I should make a guide to help you all
Do you qualify for beard frauding
-Want to appeal to ethnics (especially brown women)
-Zygo width to gonial width is low
-Flat chin
-Excess philtrum length
-Deficient chin height
-Round/oval face shape(low angularity)
-Bad gonial angle definition
Now, if at least 3-4 apply to you, then beardmaxxing MUST be an option to consider
KEY RULE WITH BEARDS
If you have long hair->beard lower down
Short hair->beard higher up
Remember its all about contrast
FINDING THE BEARD THAT SUITS YOU
Flat/deficient chin + short lower third
-Add length around chin area, giving the illusion of a projected chin
I know he's not exactly the best looking, but he is a good example of someone who took a cooked lower third and added high density to his chin. Overall, making his lower third look more harmonious and less of a flaw
Low zygomatic width to gonial width
-Have you noticed that all moggers have an equal width or wider
-Well, we need to replicate this with beard density around the gonions
-A good example is the pic below. The cheekline is kept low (the longer hair principle), and the density protrude horizontally to fraud a more equal width
-this hasn't achieved full equal width, but with more length, the ratio would be achieved
Round face/soft face
-Normally, this is due to face fat, but if you fall into this category, you need a style that frames your face
-Square the face at the bottom-> don't let the beard follow the pattern of your rounded jaw/chin
-This guy is literally a fat, obese chud clean shaven. However, since he shaped the beard in a way that doesn't follow the pattern of his natural bone structure, he looks 10x better than if he did follow his bone structure
KEY BEARD PROBLEMS AND HOW TO FIX
"OH MY BEARD IS TOO PATCHY"
-Oral minoxidil asap->try Italian beard as you don't need to connect your moustache to the beard.
-If your beard is literally hideous, just don't grow it out. Only grow it out if it has some potential within a couple of months
"My beard is ginger and is different colours throughout"
-2 solutions
1: Take MT2->MT2 binds to MC1R receptors in hair follicle melanocytes, shifting pigment production from phaeomelanin (red/yellow) to eumelanin (brown/black), resulting in darker hair growth.
2: Just dye it all black or brown, depending on your hair colour
"WHY DO I HAVE A DOUBLE CHIN EVEN WITH THE BEARD?"
-Simple->2 fingers above the Adam's apple, and don't let the beard grow too low down
WAYS TO ENHANCE THE BEARD LOOK
Bonesmash chin->combining the scar tissue from bonesmashing with the beard should be able to fix or cover at least recession/flat chins
OBV if your chin is that recessed, a beard cannot do much unless you grow some long ahh terrorist beard to cover your lower third challenges
Getting lean->obvious, however, getting lean will help the angularity you have already built with the beard, giving a great look
HOW TO TRIM THE BEARD
-I would highly recommend investing in a:
->triple mirror
->Wahl clippers and foil shaver
Plenty of tutorials online
Don't waste your money on a barber cutting your beard when u can learn it easily
FINAL THOUGHTS
Not everyone suits a beard, so just make sure you gauge how you are treated when you have a beard or are clean shaven
If your an American between 16-21, just don't grow one, it's not appealing unless u have BAD recession
However, beards can be a game-changer and have saved many lives
