Beard still wont connect

I am on 3mg daily of oral minoxidil and using topical minoxidil on my face and my beard still refuses to connect, what am I doing wrong?

Itll connect as you age. 2 years ago at 17 had many patchy spots, now they are slowly filling out

the problem is i am getting the beginnings of norwood and i need it to fully connect before getting on dht blockers

If I hop on dht blockers before then it will block beard growth so i need it so set in asap before the norwood reaper gets me
