Strict parents V. Abusive parents

Which one would be worse for a child?

I believe it would be strict parents, I would much rather be beaten every once in a while then my alcoholic dad with a small dick then my parents tell me I cant go out at 17, JFL.

They are both bad. Strict parents stunt their children's development. Children need the freedom to experience the full range of emotions. They need freedom to experience life itself.
