Becoming a child catcher

When I was a kid, a common tactic used by adults to convince us to behave, was to warn us that if we were naughty, someone will kidnap us - it was either the gypsies, or some mythical child catcher. I was a quiet and well behaved child, but the others were often rude and naughty and usually got away with it, a thing that really annoyed me.
My dream was that when I would grow up, I would become a "child catcher" and punish all the ill-mannered children by kidnapping them. Of course, this wouldn't work in this day and age, nobody would believe you that you just wanted to punish children because they are naughty, they would assume much worse things and think you're a sex offender or something...
