It’s tempting to think you can just “fix” your brain and go fully nt if you try hard enough. A lot of nd people aim for that lol, but, it’s just not possible. You can get better at managing stuff and reduce how much your traits show, but you can’t erase how your brain’s wired. Basicly, trying to go full nt is basically a trap jfl.
Nd stuff isn’t just habits or behaviors. It’s how your brain actually works. Attention, emotions, perception they’re all built different from early on. So yeah, you can learn to act more nt, but inside, it still feels different.
Masking is a big thing. nd people get really good at copying nt behaviors. From the outside, it looks like you’re “normal,” but it takes so much energy. That exhaustion itself proves your brain isn’t actually nt, it’s just compensating.
Honestly, the goal shouldn’t be to escape your nd traits. It’s about managing them. You can get close to nt behavior, make life easier, but you’ll never fully be nt jfl, and that’s fine. Those traits are part of you, and you actually lose some unique advantages if you try to erase them (It's still over for us).

I don't even try to hide my autism at this point. There's no point in it :FeelsGladMan:

Still noticable no matter how hard you try, its just better to accept the fate.

It disrracts from productive pursuits as well
