So I was doomscrolling PubMed at 4 AM after watching the Bee Movie, and having my macro on beeswarm up for 48 hours again, and found some interesting stuff about localized inflammatory edema. Basically swelling. That inspired this theory post I’m calling: Beemaxxing


What Is Beemaxxing?
The idea is simple

Using controlled bee sting reactions to create temporary facial swelling to look less boneless,
or get rid of your wrinkles ( temporarily. )

so literally just bonesmashing, which is a shit method cuz it's so
risky and looks like dogshit, and takes too long. Beemaxxing
is much more effective, wastes less time. The only negative is
that you may not be able to find any bees.

Why Bee Stings?

Bee venom (apitoxin) contains compounds like:
Melittin - ( causes inflammation > swelling )
PLA2 - ( ramps up immune response )
Histamine - ( vasodilation and edema )
MCD peptides - ( literally stands for “mast cell degranulating,” aka swelling generator )


So the theory is:
sting > inflammation > controlled puff > temporary enhanced face fullness

risks ( don't pay much attention to this. )
swelling can be uneven
It can look bad
It can scar
It can kill you if you’re allergic
It’s not actually controlled


Mechanism
1. Apitoxin enters the skin
2. immune response > ( vasodilation )
3. Blood plasma leaks into tissue > ( localized edema )
4. Temporary plumpness for 30 min to several hours
