Feels good not walking around completely exhausted and beat up from weight lifting and other cope exercises. Now I feel a lot happier with more time to spend, and don't walk around stiff as a board, like I had a stick up my ass or something.

I recommend any gym goers/hard exercisers to take a break for a month and see how you feel. It might give you a personality maxx. Made me feel a lot calmer.

Most people who go hard and are super dedicated to working out unironically have personality problems/mental disorders.

How long were you going at it?? After like 3 weeks of gym I barely was sore the days after working out. I was going to failure most of the time as well.

Also, after I work out I wasn't tired. If I worked out in the morning I would feel like a high energy beast the rest of the day from the endorphin/test release.

Were you eating enough protein to recover, were you sleeping enough, are you sure your hormones are balanced??

I also have autism ADHD and ocd.

I've been on and off for years now. Had many routines for different reasons. Simply maxxed out what I could and now I'm finished.

i lift weights 20 mins 3x a week max, sometimes even less, and i've never felt better tbh

Different genetics. I was built different.

I'm meant to be free and agile, while others roam around like walking wooden planks:

How do you even go to the gym if you don't know anyone who does

Seems weird going there on your own if you don't know how to use the shit machines and whatnot

Show me a better natty untrained and I'll believe you.

Until then, keep coping gymcel.

Letting your body rest is good, I normally go hard 3 months straight then I'll take 1-2 week off and do body weight and mobility exercises instead. I think that little bit of rest really helps out with recovery especially for your joints.

Mobility and flexibility exercises are also giga underrated because exercising for most people is just "muh lift weights"

You can always workout, doesn't mean you need to be tired to death.

Touche. Spread that shit out! Wide eagle style. Upper body, Monday. REST. Lower body, Wednesday. REST. Repeat respectively to the forthcoming days. Unless you're fat as fuck! Then you run - walk - jog and keep doing that shit till you're no longer fat. THEN strength train.

I've seen fat guys try to have it both ways. They never last.

Just because I give credit where credit is due doesn't mean I like it.

This frame will always be unmoggable whether you like it or not:

For looks? Depends on your face.

For health? Debatable tbh.
yes, health goes up a lot. I don't know exactly what you were doing but it doesn't seem like you were doing it right if you think the effects would be adverse.

Same. I just do some light cardio for a week if I feel like it and just chill. You don't really lose any progress if you take a 1-3 week break.
