Time seems to go by so slowly when youre a kid. The more new experiences we have, the more memories that are stored, and the faster time will seem to pass during the event. ... As we get older the rate of new experiences lessens compared with youth, when almost everything is new. That leads to a sense of the days being longer but time passing much more quickly overall. When youre older , you become a hamster on a wheel, doing the same thing everyday, same daily routine, getting older and older. Everyday is a repeat.

Youth is everything.

I have a very distinct memory

I remember when I was in around 4th grade I went out shopping with my mother and grandmother to get me this schoolbook I wanted

Later as we were shopping for groceries I was chatting with my grandmother about how I wish I was older and she said to me when you get older you’ll wish you were a kid again.She talked about how great I had it

I was like “no way I just want to be older”

Well,looking back now did I eat those words lol
