Basically. I don’t even know if I can justify surgery any more. It’s a quarter of my net worth and that’s with no complications.

I am tempted just to spend all my money on a house then rent rooms and claim benefits and truly LDAR. But it’s hardly a better life than neeting at my parents really. It would be a permanent decision as you can never have more than £6000 of savings on benefits so you can never afford surgery etc etc unless they’ll let you do instalments.

About £120k… my career is utterly fucked obviously so the only work I can do is minimum wage. In five years, assuming living at home, I might be at 200-250k depending on markets. I dread what five years of minimum wage work will do to me physically.

I haven’t researched the visa requirements for SEA but I suspect they’re not interested in an unskilled worker with very little money.
