You're the laughing stock wherever you go, no one takes you serious, people think you're mentally disturbed in a bad way, so no one bothers with explaining you the same way they do with neurotypicals, if you're hyper-self aware like I am, you don't want to feel like shit, so you start rotting in your room. You go through so much trauma, people throw you under the bus all the time, everyone thinks they're better than you. We had this autistic guy in our school everyone slightly bullied, like not bullying but just not taking him seriously. I felt so bad, I always went out of my way to talk to him, I even got him presents every birthday and played games with him him after school.
