There is something admirable and respectful I find when someone is humble and admits to a mistake

I always sense that the brightest people aren’t the ones who never make mistakes, but those who learn from it

Ofc you shouldn’t admit to something if you know it will be used against you, or that you risk losing something like your job, family, etc. Never destroy yourself for others

It’s rare, I struggle with it too but I’m learning to be more objective and not let my biases affect me too much

Yeah in a world where everyone's being is contingent on their ego, seeing people be humble like that opens eyes

We all struggle with it. I often can't admit I am wrong in the heat of the moment even if I know I am. Later it's easier to admit.

True. It takes time and maturity to learn that. I admit, because of my bad experiences in the past, I dislike when someone proves me wrong, regardless if the subject is futile, of no importance, it gives me flashbacks of not being good enough and inferiorized.

it's so rare to see someone admit their wrong,I barely ever see anyone do it cause everyone is so egotistical
