It’s hard to live with for sure but I feel there is a certain joy in the journey when you are left behind. It’s one of the best feelings in the world to go from going from feeling like catching up with everybody else, to actually improving yourself beyond most people. Also teen love is overrated. Most of the time it isn’t real love, it’s mostly just “dating for the sake of it” like ubermensch said. If all you want to experience is the sex you aren’t really missing out on much
