hair transplants aren't as straightforward as people make them out to be.

first, you gotta have a mainly receding pattern as opposed to a thinning one. if you're a diffuse thinner it's over.

second, you're relying on your donor area being thick enough both for donor hair count and for the hair to look decent when it gets transplanted elsewhere.

third, you rely on your surgeon to do a job that looks as natural as possible. a lot of transplants look uncanny and are obviously unnatural to the eye which defeats the purpose.

and last, hair plugs also eventually fall out. you gotta be on medication and pray that you respond well to it otherwise HTs give you a handful of extra years at best.
