Look at what conservatives defend today. Only stuff that was mainstream a few decades ago, like the 1980s (being against gay marriage or legalization of drugs). But stuff that was mainstream in the 1950s (segregation, banning homosexuality, etc.) is already gone. Conservatives just adopt their views a few decades later than the left, when the left already has new ideas that they will impose.

In 2040, they will defend things that were mainstream in the 2010s. That's how they are, they say they defend tradition, but in fact they only defend the tradition of a few decades ago.

But ye I agree with the phenomena in the pic above it applies to people's standards of society and life generally speaking

They introduce everything gradually so that people don't overreact and get comfortable with it

First there was no school.
Then there were nurserys and schools but they weren't mandatory and there wasn't a curriculum it was ran locally by the community.
Then the Rockefeller's pushed for mandatory school.
People reacted too much so they eased off the pedal slightly.
And so during the great depression they legally made school mandatory and because everyone was too occupied and stressed and poor and hungry they were to distracted to react.
But even then in the UK I don't know about the us it was only mandatory until you were 15-16 until the 90s or somethn and you could bunk off easily and not turn up for weeks and nothing would rlly happen and the gates were open so you could go to the shops at lunch but now if you try bunking a single lesson you're surrounded by walls, you have all the gates closed, there's teachers roaming around with walkie talkies and you'll get a phone call home and you'll get pulled out of the next lesson by a teacher askin where you were and then get an hour's detention or more.

And it's the same thing with security and surveillance, immigrants, the rights of fags, etc.
