Being ethnic in a white country feels like being a parody of an actual human

I have to think, feel, and act in ways that aren’t natural to me. I feel like a stage prop. I see other ethnic people on campus and think to myself “what the fuck are we doing here?” because I know we’ve just been rounded up by the Feds and have to act like “HI HOW ARE YOU IM SO GOOD” in a measly attempt to offset other people’s disgust in us. No wonder ethnic hunter gatherers don’t want to give up their lifestyles.
