I had a male high school classmate who was fat, strange, ugly, and socially awkward.
Calling him strange is perhaps an understatement. He'd make comments in class about wanting to kill babies (and the teachers would brush it off as a joke)
Yet he managed to get a long-term girlfriend in high school (he kept her for 2 years). He then got a shorter-term girlfriend for the final few months of high school.
Next, he managed to get a long-term girlfriend in college (they were an item for at least 6 years or so)
None of these foids had good looks. But that doesn't change the fact he did surprisingly well with the ladies.
Here's where it becomes even more surprising: He's currently married to a skinny woman with good looks.
On the other hand, I have decent looks, yet am an escortcel.
The only difference I can think of (to explain his luck and my failure): Despite all of his baggage, he's at least neurotypical. I, on the other hand, am an autist.
