Many politicians in America lobbying for making weed legal for profit just like transgenderism legalization. As a whole bro, weed isn't profitable because it would cut the market of many other stuff, just because some politicians are for it (and many do that for voters) doesn't mean shit, they're all talk. and you can't play games of this thing hurts society by 19% and that's by 21%, that's just an excuse. there are clear rules and if something doesn't directly affecting you, not really your business even if it's somewhat bad.
