Disclaimer: If you have an actual diagnosis of some kind, this is not for you!

1. Stressed Mindset
  • The Will this Matter Rule:
    • When you feel your chest tighten over something, ask yourself: Will this matter in 5 days? 5 weeks? 5 months? If the answer is no, consciously tell yourself, "This is low-stakes." This especially helped me when I cared too much about my grades to a point where I was crying everyday.
  • Brain Dumps:
    • Chronic stress often happens because you are trying to hold too many thoughts in your head at once. Grab a piece of paper and write down everything you are worrying about or need to do. Getting it out of your head instantly lowers your cognitive load.
  • Sleep:
    • Chronic stress starts with sleep, and bad sleep guarantees an unhappy mood the next day. Set a hard boundary on when you put your phone away at night. Just put your phones away bro sleep is the most important thing in life for me
  • Cortisol
    • Stress creates adrenaline and cortisol. If you don't use that energy, it turns into anxiety and restlessness. Run, lift weights, dance in your room, or just take a fast walk. Give the stress a physical exit.
I hope this helped a little bit :)
